Worship

Worship is the center of our life together.  We gather to praise God and ask for God's guidance.  Through Word and sacrament, through people of the community of faith, God's prophetic word and God's word of grace are mediated.   Our commitment is to enable worship to be a genuine 'work of the people' that utilizes a wide range of artistic gifts.

8:45 a.m.    Word and Sacrament

9:45 a.m.    Sunday Church School & Adult Forum

11:00 a.m.    Word and Sacrament

Open Communion is the policy of Holy Trinity.  This means that baptized people from other Christian faith groups may receive the Sacrament.

Our liturgical practice is traditional and in the Lutheran style.

Several liturgies are rotated:

Nursery service is available from 8:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. every Sunday for infants through age 5.  Parents are invited to use this service while in attendance at worship or a class at Holy Trinity.  Many parents find that it is a good place for active pre-school children..

Mid-Week Prayer

6:15 p.m.    Supper

7:00 p.m.    Evening Prayer

Wednesdays of Advent and Lent, Thanksgiving Eve, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, The Day of Ascension and other selected times.

 

 

Swahili Language Worship and Fellowship

Bi-weekly at 2:00 p.m.
