Living simply and sustainably is an important value for the congregation of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.  We seek to provide educational opportunities for members and the community about important environmental issues.

Our concern for living responsibly with God’s creation has motivated the construction of a new rain garden in the courtyard near the church building.  Rain gardens such as these help protect rivers and streams from erosion and pollutants that can be carried by rainwater runoff.

Beginning in 2012, Holy Trinity is doing a congregational book read on the book Eaarth by Bill McKibben.  Contact the church office to find out how to get involved in book conversations.
